Dr. Robert Daiber will participate in a “School Safety & Security Symposium – When will you be tested?” streaming broadcast on Thursday, January 28th at 9:30am. It will be carried on KTRS 550 radio (listen online at ktrs.com) and video streamed nationally at http://www.ittnerarchitects.com.
The symposium will be held in conjunction with a Special Edition of the monthly ‘Issues in Education’ Radio Roundtable, which will also regionally broadcast LIVE on The Big 550 KTRS Radio, and nationally broadcast LIVE via the internet.
The 16-member School Safety and Security Symposium will be held between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM, with ‘Issues in Education’ to broadcast at 11:30 AM. It will be available on podcast and via the internet for anyone unable to watch or listen LIVE.
Topics to be covered include – 1) Accepting today’s reality and changing the way we think; 2) Creating a culture of safety; 3) Physical deterrents for maximum protection; 4) Funding and implementation; and 5) A summary call-to-action to provide practical measures that can be applied immediately.
The School Safety and Security Symposium participants will include experts from the Missouri Center for Education Safety, the Missouri School Boards’ Association; Saint Louis Public Schools; Independent Schools of Saint Louis; the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department; the Missouri and Illinois School Resource Officers’ Associations; the Illinois State Regional Office of Education; the Illinois Governor’s Task Force on Safety and Security; and the Illinois Association of School Boards. Lindbergh Schools, and other districts and organizations will also participate.
