This workshop is being offered for the special education teachers and school psychologists in your district. In partnership with Dr. Liz McKenney and area teacher leaders, we are offering a 3 day workshop on instructing and supporting students with autism. They will learn effective strategies to help students with ASD to gain social communication, academic, and adaptive skills. An emphasis will be placed on research-based and evidenced-based methods for instruction. By partnering with area teacher leaders of students with autism, we feel this will provide your teachers and school psychologists with practice-based scientific knowledge. We conducted this workshop last year and the response from participants was very positive.
Note: Registration for this workshop closes on July 15th.
