FYI: Effective today registration for ROE 41 workshops and administrator academies process has changed slightly.

The workshop and admin academies links on the ROE 41 web page are still in the same location (under “School Improvement” or “Workshops/Events”), however when you click on either link you will be taken to a different registration spot at abcsignup. An additional link (on the ROE 41 web site) will take you to your PD summary.

New ROE 41 Workshop: Project Learning Tree (September 22 & October 22)

Project Learning Tree is an award-winning multi-disciplinary science-focused program designed for teachers and other educators working with K-8 youth. Educators learn how to utilize the ninety-six multi-disciplinary activities within the award winning Guide to meet personal classroom goals. Each participant will receive a free copy of the guide ($20 value).

This training series will focus on a lesson that integrates science, math and English/language arts to help bring Common Core Standards and STEM applications to the existing curriculum. Each activity is filled with opportunities to build critical thinking skills, incorporate technology, and use differentiated instruction.

There have been some changes to the registration and renewal process with the ISBE. Additionally, there have been some changes to professional development requirements. We have outlined the new process on the ROE 41 web site HERE.
